Ronda Rousey Puts Triple H Through Table At WWE Elimination Chamber 2018

So much for a straightforward contract signing...

As expected, Ronda Rousey's WWE contract signing did not go without a hitch.

The former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion cut an awkward post-introduction promo, but turned into the billed 'Baddest Woman On The Planet' soon after. Kurt Angle planted dissent between Rousey and Stephanie McMahon, bringing up her WrestleMania 31 humiliation by Ronda's hand, and as Triple H accompanied him out of the ring, the Raw General Manager dropped a bombshell.

He blurted that Stephanie called Rouse a "has-been" earlier in the evening, and the switch was flipped. Rousey went from smiley-happy to stone cold killer in an instant, and though Triple H prevented her from destroying his wife, he was driven through a table for his troubles.

McMahon responded by slapping the taste out of Rousey's mouth, but fled moments later, leaving Ronda to sign her WWE contract and toss it upon Triple H's downed body.

Though Ronda's promo didn't get over, the segment improved exponentially after Kurt's outburst. It now looks as tough we're heading towards Rousey and Angle vs. Triple H and Stephanie at WrestleMania 34, though we'll likely learn more on tonight's Raw, which will presumably including another emasculation for poor old Kurt.
