Ronda Rousey Shoots On WWE's Intense Women's Locker Room

Paul Heyman had an interesting observation on Ronda's role in the WWE locker room.

Ronda Rousey is viewed as a "pitbull" in WWE's female locker room.

That's how Paul Heyman described the SmackDown Women's Champion, at least - Ronda appeared on Kurt Angle's podcast to tell this story, and implied that nothing "crazy" happens when she's camped out in the dressing room.

As soon as Rousey leaves though? Yeah, things can get a little wild.

Heyman noted that he only hears about drama in the women's locker room when Ronda isn't in it. That's not lost on the famous manager, and he got a kick out of telling Rousey backstage. She's apparently comfortable in this role too, and doesn't mind telling others to behave.

Not many would argue with the ex-MMA star, that's for sure.

Ronda described the women's locker room as intense, and said things typically only go sour whenever she leaves it. Older fans will recall similar stories about roster leaders like The Undertaker and (latterly) Roman Reigns; has Rousey taken that role on herself over on the women's side?

The reigning SmackDown Women's Champ is happy to lead by example backstage. That didn't really surprise Angle to hear.
