Here's what Ruby Riott will go by after leaving WWE (and no, it's not Heidi Lovelace).

Former WWE wrestler Ruby Riott has seemingly revealed her new ring name - and it isn't Heidi Lovelace.

The former Riott Squad member has changed her Instagram username to @realrubysoho (h/t Inside the Ropes' Gary Cassidy for bringing this to light) and her profile description to "Destination Unknown," both of which are references to punk band Rancid.

Cut from the group's acclaimed 1995 album ...And Out Come the Wolves, "Ruby Soho" is amongst Rancid's best-known songs, with "destination unknown" taken from the hook:-

Riott has not yet changed her Twitter handle, though she has updated her profile.

The wrestler has cited Rancid as her favourite band in the past, with the "Ruby" in her WWE ring name coming from "Ruby Soho" as well. Now, she gets to go all-in on the song.

That she won't be wrestling as Heidi Lovelace in her post-WWE career may come as a surprise, given that this was her adopted monicker prior to joining the promotion. Last week, however, she told The Wrestling Perspective podcast (on which Rancid's Lars Frederiksen is a host, incidentally) that she wouldn't be going back to Lovelace, which she was given by her old trainers.
