While the major talking point coming out of last night's AEW Dynamite: Holiday Smash was the company debut of Kyle O'Reilly - KOR joining forces with his Undisputed Era buddies Adam Cole and Bobby Fish - Ruby Soho has earned herself a shot at becoming the inaugural AEW TBS Champion.

Last night saw Soho win a back and forth battle against Nyla Rose, eventually hitting the No Future enziguri kick on the Native Beast to pick up the victory.

That win puts Ruby on a collision course with the winner of the Thunder Rosa vs. Jade Cargill semi-final bout; a bout that we now know will take place on next week's episode of AEW Dynamite. From there, Soho and Rosa/Cargill will meet in the tournament final on the 5 January Dynamite - a Dynamite that will be the first to air on TBS in the US.

Soho's path to the final has seen her best Penelope Ford and Kris Statlander before toppling Nyla. As for Rosa, La Mera Mera received a bye in the first round and then beat Jamie Hayter to set up her match with Cargill. For Jade, the powerhouse likewise got a first round bye before getting a win over Red Velvet.
