Rusev Vs. Big Cass Added To WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line Kickoff
Cass seeks revenge for Enzo Amore.
Following a confrontation on Raw - and weeks of issues involving Lana and Enzo Amore - a match between Big Cass and Rusev has been signed for Roadblock: End of the Line's kickoff show.
The origins of the program came on the November 21 episode of Raw, when a naked Enzo was accidentally locked out of his locker room. After walking around backstage in the buff, he came across Lana and started talking to "The Ravishing Russian." That infuriated Rusev, who came upon the scene and challenged Enzo to a match. They fought later in the evening, with Rusev dominating Enzo.
On December 5, Rusev and Big Cass were slated to do battle on Raw, but when Cass was in the ring, a video played showing Lana and Enzo together. Lana appeared to take an interest in the diminutive superstar, but when she brought him to a hotel room, her plan was revealed to be a ruse - Rusev ambushed him, beating him to a pulp. Now, Cass has challenged "The Bulgarian Brute" on his partner's behalf.
The Roadblock: End of the Line kickoff show airs live on the WWE Network this Sunday at 7:00 PM ET.
