Sabu wants to wrestle WWE star Brock Lesnar in his "final match". Yes, you're reading that correctly. No, you do not need to wipe your eyes, adjust the brightness on your screen or question if your mind is playing tricks on you - this is a real pro wrestling news story in 2023.

The former ECW favourite would handpick Brock as his final opponent if pressed to book one last retirement match. Sabu told fans tuning into a Golden Collectibles virtual signing on Facebook that Lesnar would win the race for that berth hands down.

In fact, the 'Homicidal, Genocidal, Suicidal' hardcore legend believes Brock would be the "perfect opponent". Why? Well, "because he does stuff" that Sabu "doesn't do", and vice versa. The recent AEW cameo king would be interested to see how they'd match up and mesh in-ring.

Of course, this is highly unlikely to happen. Wrestling is a strange business, but Brock f'n Lesnar agreeing to wrestle Sabu in 2023 is rather inconceivable. Still, Sabu would love for it to happen.

He added that he'd need "the right amount of money" to wrestle again generally.
