Sasha Banks may have picked up a significant injury at a WWE live event last night.

Coming during a match against old sparring partner Charlotte Flair during a live show in Fayetteville, North Carolina, The Boss took a nasty looking tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that left her knee landing somewhat awkwardly. After some deliberation and discussion with the ref, Banks would continue on, taking The Queen's Natural Selection for the finish.

Not long after the conclusion, the dread "X" signal was thrown up and the former SmackDown Women's Champion was helped out of the arena by a ref and WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann.

Judging from Banks' comments in the time since the footage of her taking the nasty backbreaker and being assisted in her exit from the ring surfaced, though, it appears the blue show star's injury may not have been as bad as first thought.

As Banks would tweet out:

"I'm good
Thank you for the love always."

Banks and Flair have routinely gone at it on house shows over the blue belt in recent times, with the pair even battling it out over the strap on five consecutive nights over the course of WWE's Holiday Live Event loop last week. The Boss would also team with the recently departing Toni Storm in her last TV showing, taking on Flair and Shotzi Blackheart on December 17's edition of SmackDown.

Here's hoping Banks is back in fighting condition as soon as possible.
