Sasha Banks might not be back on WWE television yet, but the multi-time champion is set to appear for one of the market-leading promotion's media partners in December.

USA Network, which broadcasts WWE Raw and WWE NXT every Monday and Tuesday respectively, has confirmed Banks' involvement in the upcoming "Barmageddon" game show. Hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, the series debuts on Monday 5 December, with Sasha set to face off with fellow wrestling star Brie Bella on their episode.

Interestingly, Banks is listed under her wrestling monicker, not her real name, Mercedes Varnado.

Despite this latest development, Sasha's WWE status remains shrouded in mystery. The former NXT, Raw, SmackDown, and Women's Tag Team Champion walked out on the company alongside partner Naomi during a May episode of Raw. This resulted in WWE suspending the duo indefinitely and stripping them of the Women's Tag Team Titles, doing so on that week's episode of SmackDown

Neither Banks nor Naomi has returned to the company since. Naomi is believed to have been in negotiations over a new deal with the promotion during her absence, as her contracted term was coming to an end pre-walkout, though there is no word on when, if ever, she or Banks might return.
