As revealed during Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the next guest for Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions has been announced: Sasha Banks.

The show is at the very least a highly entertaining watch. Recent editions if light on new insight have proven to be welcome supplementary Network content: Steve Austin didn't get to where he was without developing a sense of chemistry with virtually everybody around him not named Marc Mero or Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett would be wild, incidentally. Just imagine Austin, stone-faced, planting a potato on the desk, staring Jarrett down, being obtuse and terrifying on purpose.

But it's not Jarrett, it's Banks, and she finds herself on the show in what is arguably the peak of her career. She has worked stronger series of matches than this still very good programme with Carmella, but she's a sort of Ace figure in WWE these days entrusted to carry top programmes. Known to be candid in such an environment, Austin may well press her on the way in which she was finally afforded a degree of latitude on WWE programming - and if it really should take that long.
