Sasha Banks Vs. Nia Jax Added To WWE Fastlane 2017
Royal Rumble Rematch!
Following a tag team match that saw Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax defeat Sasha Banks and Raw Women's Champion Bayley, Stephanie McMahon announced that Jax and Banks would wrestle each other at Fastlane.
The feud between Jax and Banks started on the Raw after Roadblock: End of the Line. At that PPV, Banks lost the Raw Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair after submitting to the Figure 8 in overtime of an Iron Man match. On Raw, Jax attacked Banks, further injuring her leg and putting her on crutches.
The two women clashed at the Royal Rumble kickoff show, with Jax scoring a decisive victory. Since then, Banks has been lending a hand to Bayley, helping the perennial underdog defeat Charlotte for the Raw Women's Championship. Still, Banks is owed a title rematch, and it's rumored that she, Jax, Banks, and Charlotte will all be part of a contest for the belt at WrestleMania.
On Raw, Jax took a major step toward proving herself worthy of the goal, scoring the match-winning pinfall over Bayley with a legdrop.
