Sasha Banks Wins WWE Women's Championship On RAW
Banks is now a three-time WWE Women's Champion.
Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte in a No DQ, falls count anywhere match to become the new WWE Women's Champions Monday night on RAW. The move has to be seen as surprising considering Banks has defeated Charlotte twice before on television for the championship (July 25th and October 3rd).
The match, which was heavily advertised in advanced, originally took place during the second hour of the broadcast. However, after the bout went to a count-out finish with Charlotte retaining, Mick Foley came out to announce that they would wrestle another match later in the show with no count-outs, no DQ, and falls count anywhere. The match ended up main evening RAW.
Both women fought all over the arena through the match, with the bout going roughly ten minutes past the top of the hour to close the show. In the end, Banks applied the Banks Statement through a railing on the lower level of the venue to get Charlotte to tap out.

Following the match, which was held in Charlotte, NC, Ric Flair made his way down to the ring. He congratulated Banks on her victory, embracing Sasha in a hug, to close the show as Charlotte looked on disgruntled.
