After a brutal beating at the hands of Finn Balor to open Monday Night Raw, questions abounded about whether Seth Rollins would be able to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on NXT as planned.

Breakker would raise the issue himself in a backstage interview on Raw, saying that Rollins might call himself the workhorse, but he probably was going to use the Balor attack as an excuse to get out of Tuesday night's title defense.

Not so fast.

Rollins would issue a response, presumably from the hospital, saying that doctors be damned, he would still defend his championship on NXT. He did, however, note that he had X-rays on his ribs after suffering three Coup de Graces, which would seem to paint a big bullseye on Seth's midsection. That's probably not ideal when going up against a guy whose speciality is a devastating spear.

After winning the newly created World Heavyweight Championship at last month's Night of Champions, Rollins pledged to be a fighting champion, defending it against Damian Priest two weeks ago and accepting Breakker's challenge last week for Tuesday. He's currently slated to put the title up against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank.
