WWE confirmed during their Kickoff Panel that Seth Rollins & Braun Strowman's Tag Team Title clash against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler will open the live portion of the pay-per-view that kicks off shortly in North Carolina.

The duo will work twice on the show, going into battle against one another for Rollins' Universal Championship regardless of the result against the makeshift challengers. Through verbiage from Roode and Ziggler on Raw, the company had teased forcing the partners to face each other before the doubles clash, but the 'Glorious One' and the 'Show Off' won't get their way this time.

With lots of rumours regarding a possible Braun Strowman heel turn, a challenge to whomever leaves this pay-per-view with Raw's top title from The Fiend and what match could possibly close the show, the company have at least curated something unpredictable from a match that could have otherwise looked unfashionable.

Regardless of the result in the opener, 'The Architect' and 'The Monster Among Men' will still be expected to deliver a top level singles scuffle. This may suit Champion more than Challenger - Seth worked back-to-back title matches against John Cena and Sting on this very show four years ago.
