With AEW having recently pushed back this year's Full Gear PPV by a week, that looks to have caused a minor headache for the company, certain talent, and a New York wrestling convention.

For those who missed it, AEW Full Gear 2021 has now been moved from 6 November to 13 November. This is due to that 6 November featuring huge PPV competition in the shape of UFC 268 (Kamara Usman vs. Colby Covington 2) and a hotly-anticipated boxing card headlined by Canelo Alvarez vs. Caleb Plant.

As picked up on by Mike Johnson at PWInsider, this change of date has now meant that some AEW stars are double-booked with New York's The Big Event.

That major wrestling convention takes place on the same 13 November date that Full Gear will happen on, and that currently has AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Malakai Black, Matt Hardy and Billy Gunn as AEW names who are due to appear. Ric Flair is likewise booked for the show, with the Nature Boy heavily rumoured to join All Elite Wrestling in some form or fashion before the year is out.

This PWI report adds that AEW officials are well aware of this situation, and that arrangements are being made with The Big Event to try and find a resolution to this issue.
