WWE has announced a series of cancellations regarding live events that were supposed to go down this weekend.

The first domino to fall was a house show set for Toronto, Ontario, Canada's Coca-Cola Coliseum. The building released this statement yesterday:-

"The WWE Live Road to WrestleMania SuperShow event scheduled for this Saturday, March 14 at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto has been cancelled. Refunds are available at all points of purchase."

A Sunday live event in Youngstown, Ohio has also been scrapped:-

“In accordance with the proclamation issued by Governor DeWine, the WWE live event scheduled for this Sunday, March 15 in Youngstown, Ohio has been canceled. Refunds are available at all points of purchase.”

WWE has also been forced to cancel a big show set for their spiritual Madison Square Garden home in New York City on 22 March. The Mayor of NYC, Bill DeBlasio, has declared a state of emergency and banned gatherings of more than 500 people, meaning the WWE show can't go ahead (h/t Wrestling Inc.).

More shows will likely follow over the coming days, weeks, and months as the coronavirus crisis worsens. The wrestling calendar is about to be devastated.
