As this week’s WWE Raw kicked off, not only were audiences greeted by the surprise return of Shane McMahon, but Shane O’Mac and Adam Pearce announced a huge match for this month’s Elimination Chamber PPV.

We now know that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be defending his prize in the titular chamber structure – and that he’ll be facing off against five former World Champions in that match.

Those five names are Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, the Miz and Sheamus.

Many had speculated whether WWE might pull the trigger on a one-on-one match between McIntyre and Sheamus at Elimination Chamber, but that singles match will have to wait for another day – possibly for 21 March’s WWE Fastlane event or maybe even for 10 and 11 April’s WrestleMania 37.

This year’s Elimination Chamber PPV will take place on 21 February – a week from this Sunday – from WWE’s temporary home of St. Petersburg’s Tropicana Field.

To be more specific, all WWE programming until WrestleMania 37 will take place at Tropicana Field, with the Showcase of the Immortals then emanating from Raymond James Stadium.
