Shane McMahon's son, Declan, has refused to rule out the prospect of signing for WWE someday.

Although the 18-year-old recently committed to playing college football at Indiana University, Declan has told the Bloomington Herald-Times that while he doesn't plan on becoming a professional wrestler anytime soon, he might be open to entering the family business in the future:-

"I've tried it in my house. I have two younger brothers, so if we're joking around I'll pick them up and throw them on the couch. I'm going in with the mindset that I'll cross that bridge when we get there. So right now no plans yet, but down the road, who knows? If I have to jump off a cage like my father, maybe that's what I'll do."

Declan and his brothers have appeared on camera for WWE several times as part of their father's storylines, most notably when they accompanied Shane to the ring for his comeback match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.

Shane is currently out of WWE after a post-Royal Rumble fallout stemming from the 52-year-old trying to book himself strongly in the titular men's match. While he was backstage at WrestleMania 38, he did not appear on camera.
