Shawn Michaels Shoots On Possibility Of Working One More WWE Match

Will you ever see HBK pull on the tights for another WWE match? The man himself speaks.

WWE icon Shawn Michaels has ruled out ever returning to rings for another match, and says his days as an active wrestler are very-much behind him in 2023.

HBK told 'Wrestle Binge' that he "absolutely [doesn't] think about that at all anymore", and says he's "enamoured" with helping younger stars progress on NXT. Being able to live vicariously through those men and women is enough for Shawn at this stage in his life.

The Hall Of Famer added that he's "had [his] time in the sun", and that people shouldn't expect to see him haul on the tights and boots for one more match in the future; Shawn has gone on record to admit he kinda regrets working Crown Jewel 2018's bumper main event tag-team match with Triple H vs. Kane and The Undertaker.

That bout sagged, and it wasn't a positive experience for anyone involved. Some critics argued that it even cheapened HBK's legacy, and just shouldn't have happened. Michaels is keen to avoid reliving that sort of scenario again, and turned attention onto fresher names like Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker during the interview.
