Shayna Baszler Addresses Reports Ronda Rousey Demanded WWE Women's Tag Team Titles
The Queen of Spades has moved to clear up recent rumours.
With recent reports claiming Ronda Rousey demanded that she and Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, the Queen of Spades herself has moved to rubbish such claims.
Taking to Twitter, Baszler clarified that Rousey's demand was for the duo to team together, not for them to win the Women's Tag Team Championships.
Twisting my words. The demand was to team together. That’s it. Full stop. https://t.co/BYCN8vXHng

Baszler and Rousey won the Women's Tag Team Titles on last week's Raw, defeating Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, and the Damage CTRL duo of Bayley and IYO SKY. Those belts had previously been vacated by Rodriguez and Liv Morgan due to Morgan suffering a shoulder injury that may require surgery.
As for Shayna and Ronda, the two have famously been long-time pals since their MMA days, and the duo are also part of the Four Horsewomen of MMA alongside Jessamyn Duke and AEW's Marina Shafir.
This latest reign marks Baszler's third time as a Women's Tag Team Champions, with the two-time NXT Champion having held those titles twice with Nia Jax. In Rousey's case, this is her first run as a Tag Champ, though the Rowdy One is a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion and a one-time Raw Women's Champion.
