Shayna Baszler's violent streak continued last night as she destroyed Eva Marie on Raw.

Shayna Baszler destroyed Eva Marie in what may have been an intended babyface turn on last night's WWE Raw, doing so after interrupting an in-ring promo from the former 'All Red Everything.'

This came following Doudrop's singles defeat to Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. The Scot fell to a distraction from Eva, her former partner, whom Charlotte battered to babyface pops after the bell. Marie then stuck around through a beamed-in Goldberg promo, declaring to the audience that she would have won if she was in Doudrop's shoes opposite Charlotte.

Cue: Baszler's theme - and a whole lot of violence.

Cheered as she locked Eva in the Kirifuda Clutch, Shayna dragged Eva to the mat, putting her to sleep after depriving her of her oxygen supply for long enough. She then took Eva to the outside and stomped on her arm on the steel steps, leading to chants of "one more time" from the audience.

Not the most honourable way to embrace the side of light, admittedly, but Eva's character and career-long meta-heat makes it impossible to present her as sympathetic, even opposite a killer like Baszler. Last night continued the character direction that started for Baszler last week, when she gave former tag partner Nia Jax similar treatment following their singles match.
