WWE fans haven't seen Sheamus since April, with the big, burly Irishman going missing soon after WrestleMania 35, having suffered a reported concussion.

The 41-year-old's spinal stenosis condition led to speculation that he was on the verge of retirement. Rajah.com even went as far as reported that WWE believed Sheamus was "winding his career down," but it looks like the 'Celtic Warrior' could now be on his way back to WWE television.

This is according to PW Insider, who have reported that Sheamus is back on the road with WWE having been cleared to return to the ring.

Though he still technically belongs to the SmackDown brand, the Wild Card Rule means he could really show up anywhere. Regardless, it'll be good to see Sheamus back in action. He hasn't wrestled since SD's 9 April episode, and with (former?) partner Cesaro busy on Raw, he may have his chance to sink his teeth into another singles run again.

That Sheamus suffers from the same condition that brought Steve Austin and Edge's careers to a premature end will always be troubling. Let's hope he's able to make the most of whatever time he has left.
