Sheamus Is Rocksteady In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 (First Look)

Former WWE Champion in a major motion picture.

https://twitter.com/solomonster/status/604048118829748224 Sheamus is currently in New York City filming for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 movie. He's playing the role of Rocksteady according to the Daily Mail and the filming is ongoing. It's a significant role for the former WWE Champion because Rocksteady was a main villain in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. He was often seen with his friend Bebop, who was a human looking warthog and is played by actor Gary Anthony Williams. Rocksteady looked like a human rhinoceros, so Sheamus will likely have a unique look in the film. There aren't any current photos of what he looks like while in character aside from shots of him from the side. The characters of Beebop and Rocksteady are villains that aren't really smart, so Sheamus will be a heel character just like in his wrestling career. There's no word on if Sheamus will miss any time with WWE. It's a minor role, so most likely there won't be a lot of filming for him. He's booked for the Elimination Chamber event this Sunday in the Intercontinental Title match where he's considered a favorite. Perhaps he might miss some days down the road due to filming, but since he's not in a lead role they can likely work around it. Another member of the cast is actor Stephen Amell, who will be playing Casey Jones and is known for his TV role in the show Arrow. He was at Raw on Monday to start an angle with Stardust, so that's a nice wrestling tie-in for Sheamus. Other notable cast members include Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Laura Linney and Tyler Perry. Sheamus hasn't publicly commented on being in the movie yet, but with everybody aware of the news now he'll probably say something soon. All he has done so far is share a picture on Twitter with some of his co-stars after filming in New York City. https://twitter.com/WWESheamus/status/604068614640115712 The film will be in theaters on June 3, 2016.
