Should WWE Book This Non Wrestler vs. Non Wrestler Match?

One half of the equation has already teased it, but...would WWE fans want to see the match?

Nick Aldis Adam Pearce
WWE

OK, so the title isn't strictly true considering both guys have been wrestlers in the past, but Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce are in non-wrestling roles on WWE TV these days. They're GMs on SmackDown and Raw respectively, and have been booked to butt heads as rivals on-screen in the past.

Is more incoming?

Pearce described this Raw GM role as the "pinnacle of [his] professional performing career" during a sit-down with Chris Van Vliet's 'Insight' show recently. Then, attention turned to the prospect of a WWE match vs. Aldis in the future. Adam was coy, but admitted: "There is something there".

Elaborating, he added that the match would "be fun" if Triple H ever deemed it necessary. This is totally different to prior GM vs. GM feuds like Eric Bischoff vs. Teddy Long. Neither of those chaps were trained in-ring workers, but Aldis and Pearce are ex-NWA World Champions who could produce something worthwhile on a major PLE.

Pearce did tell Van Vliet that he reckons neither he nor Aldis would openly lobby for a match against one another behind the scenes, because they're both content to play non-wrestling roles on TV. However, neither man is willing to shoot the idea down completely either.
