Sin Cara Returns To WWE SmackDown in Mexico This Month

WWE Spanish announce team reveal that Sin Cara will be returning to the ring for the SmackDown brand's live tour of Mexico, running from May 24th to May 26th.

During last night's broadcast of WWE Raw in Spain, the WWE Spanish announce team revealed that Sin Cara will be returning to the ring for the SmackDown brand's live tour of Mexico, running from May 24th to May 26th. Sin Cara has been rehabilitating from a knee injury he suffered performing his entrance before a multi-man match at November's WWE Survivor Series. The injury was diagnosed to be a minimum six month lay-off time and possible ten month lay-off time. Thankfully it sounds like it will be the former for Sin Cara. His return of course could come before SmackDown's live tour of Mexico, but we know he will return at least by then. Sin Cara was due for a big push before his injury, with WWE officials hoping for a Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio feud to culminate at WWE WrestleMania 28 but once both got injured, that was taken off the table. With Rey Mysterio now suspended for a Wellness Policy failure, it will be interesting to see who Cara is programmed with upon his return.
