Sonya Deville's Alleged Stalker Facing Life In Prison

The man who allegedly broke into Sonya Deville's Florida home and attempted to kidnap the WWE wrestler is facing life in prison.
Wrestling Inc. has published court documents noting this, revealing that Phillip Thomas II, the perpetrator, has entered a plea of not guilty. He was arrested in Deville's dwelling with zip ties, duct tape, a knife, mace, and other implements on his person during the small hours of Sunday 16 August.
A court dismissed Thomas' notion to set a bail of $2 million. His three charges include the armed burglary of a dwelling, which could mean life in prison. The other charges, attempted armed kidnapping and aggravated stalking with a weapon, and considered second-degree felonies and are punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
A virtual disposition hearing has been set for 12 October, with Thomas also set to appear in court regarding the case on 12 November.
Deville has been off WWE television since SummerSlam 2020. She lost to Mandy Rose in a Loser Leaves WWE match that night, seemingly to give her time off after what must have been a harrowing incident. Rose was also in Deville's house when Thomas broke in.
