Rey Mysterio will put in a call to someone special following WWE SmackDown.
PWInsider is reporting that Rey Mysterio will put in a call to none other than Carlito as a surprise partner for WWE's upcoming Fastlane PLE on Saturday night.
LWO members Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde were kayfabe injured on this week's episode of SmackDown, and that means neither man can team with Mysterio and Santos Escobar against Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
Don't worry - Rey has a plan, and it involves someone who spits right in the faces of people who don't want to be cool. Carlito has been back on WWE's books since the summer, but he's had to play the waiting game and be patient whilst creative finds the right spot for him.
This is it.
Carlito became an honorary member of the LWO back at Backlash in May, but he hasn't really been spotted since. Fastlane should mark Mr. Caribbean Cool's return to television though. It remains to be seen if he'll get a more permanent role afterwards, of it it'll be back to the bench.
Mysterio and Escobar welcoming back Carlito as a surprise partner should get a nice pop from fans on the night.
