SPOILER On Exciting Creative Plans For WWE SmackDown

Sounds like WWE has something FUN up its sleeve for tonight's SmackDown.

SmackDown spoilers

Damage CTRL have been factored into creative plans for tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown.

This is according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, who reports that IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, and Bayley have been added to the show, which takes place in Anaheim, California.

Logan Paul has been officially confirmed for SmackDown following recent interactions with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and manager Paul Heyman. There'll also be a number one contendership match for the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles, with Street Profits, The New Day, Alpha Academy, and Los Lotharios facing off.

Damage CTRL's SKY and Kai became Women's Tag Team Champions on this week's Raw, defeating Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez. The Bayley-helmed stable has been assigned to the red brand since all three returned to the promotion at SummerSlam 2022 (30 July). There's currently no word on what, exactly, they'll be doing on SmackDown, but Rodriguez and Aliyah are both Friday night wrestlers, opening up the possibility of a rematch.

Aliyah and Rodriguez claimed WWE's vacant Women's Tag Team Titles by defeating Damage CTRL on 29 August. Kai was pinned in this bout despite not being the legal woman, hence this week's rematch.
