Sting To WWE: 10 Ways He Could Debut At SummerSlam
3. Managing A WWE Superstar
Going back to the idea of Sting debuting in WWE in a non-wrestling, non-physical role, one should consider the idea of having him be a manager. Sting's presence and guidance could help lead some young superstar or superstars to main event, or main roster, stardom. Thinking of all the possible young stars in possible need of Sting's help, I think of the Ascension down in NXT. They are the NXT tag team champions and have very little to no challenge in NXT, but that doesn't mean Sting shouldn't be added to their gimmick. He could reprise the crow gimmick he used in WCW and make the Ascension even darker and creepier than they already are. Plus, the Ascension doesn't speak much, so Sting could be used as their mouthpiece. Giving young stars in NXT or even the main roster will help them benefit from Sting's expertise and experience as a professional wrestling. Sting was the face of WCW for a long time and even for TNA more recently. There have been rumblings about Ric Flair possibly becoming a manager in WWE soon. Who would you prefer as your manager? Flair or Sting? Tough call.
