Stipulation Added To Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match

Riddle has a date with the Tribal Chief on Friday, but what conditions were added?

Roman Reigns is set to finally defend his Undisputed WWE Universal World Championship on SmackDown this Friday against Riddle, but some serious stakes were added to the mix Monday night.

General counsel Paul Heyman appeared on Miz TV during Raw to announce that if Riddle loses his match Friday night, he can never challenge Reigns for the title again, basically making this a win or go home match for the Original Bro. No do-overs, no second chances, no rematches.

Riddle has been on a tear lately, showing some serious fire in his promos and not showing any fear of the Tribal Chief (or Tribal Piece of Trash, as he calls Reigns). Riddle's been dedicating a lot of his matches and actions to tag partner Randy Orton, who is currently on the shelf.

Reigns unified his Universal Championship with Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38, but he hasn't defended the title in more than two months. He also has only wrestled once on TV since then, in a six-man tag match at WrestleMania Backlash, where he pinned Riddle.

This could have been a PLE match at Money in the Bank, but it's been reported that Roman is no longer wrestling at that show (due to the venue change to the smaller arena), so this could be WWE giving the match away on free TV instead to pop a rating.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
