WWE all but confirmed that Ronda Rousey will wrestle Charlotte Flair in an "I Quit" match at WrestleMania Backlash during Friday's SmackDown.

Rousey cut an in-ring promo on the show and refused to make excuses for her loss to Flair at 'Mania 38. Then, as expected, she challenged Charlotte to the aforementioned stip. Appearing on the tron, Flair laughed at Ronda's bid for a rematch and turned it down flat.

Later, authority figure Adam Pearce told viewers that the match was being considered - it's likely that WWE will announce the pay-per-view bout later today via social media. They may have already done so by the time you read this.

The match is an intriguing one. Few predicted that Flair would beat Rousey in Dallas, but WWE kept powder dry on the anticipated arm bar finish. They could use that submission at 'Mania Backlash and crown Ronda the new leader of SmackDown's women's division.

Or, maybe this is going to be Rousey's final shot at the prize before disappearing off WWE television again. Either way, the "I Quit" gimmick is pretty much set in stone to happen.
