PWInsider Elite reports that Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio will close WWE's Money In The Bank 2023 pay-per-view on Saturday night in London, England.

This will come as a huge surprise to many. Most had assumed that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs. The Usos would go on last. Failing that, fans on social media speculated that either Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor or one of the titular MITB ladder bouts would main event the PLE.

Nope, it looks like Cody vs. Dom is getting the nod, but why? There's a simple answer: Brock Lesnar. He's rumoured to be making a grand return on the card to setup another match vs. Rhodes for SummerSlam next month.

WWE apparently want that to be the lasting memory people have of Money In The Bank.

Cody beat Brock at Backlash on 6 May, but Lesnar got a win himself during their rematch at Night Of Champions later that same month. Now, the pair are set for a rubber match showdown at SummerSlam on 5 August.

There's no word yet on exactly which stipulation WWE has picked out for chapter three between both men.
