Tamina Cleared For WWE Return
Star expected to join the Raw brand.
Though her WWE Hall-of-Famer father has been making note as of late for the wrong reasons, Tamina Snuka has gotten some good news - she's been cleared to return to in-ring action. According to PWInsider, she will be back on the road for this coming week's TV tapings and is scheduled to be part of the Raw brand.
Snuka was put out of action in May, as she was forced to undergo knee surgery to repair torn ligaments. Her tag-team partner (and real-life in-law) Naomi also suffered an injury around the same time, putting an effective end to their tandem. While Naomi returned to Smackdown as a face in July, there was no mention of Tamina's status or her next move.
Tamina, who only started wrestling in 2009, made her main roster debut the following year as the manager of her cousins, The Usos. The heel trio split when Tamina turned face and started a relationship with Santino Marella, but when she moved to singles competition, she was a heel once more. Since then, she's had associations with AJ Lee, Naomi, and Sasha Banks, though she's never managed to capture championship gold.
