Tegan Nox Returns At WWE Raw Tapings, First Match In 11 Months

Could the returning NXT star behind those charging battery segments on Tuesday nights?

Tegan Nox returned to the ring at last night's WWE Raw tapings, working her first bout in 11 months.

As reported by PWInsider's Mike Johnson, Nox, who has been absent through injury since September 2020, worked Toni Storm in a dark match. There's no word on who picked up the victory, though the outcome would have been less important than the return itself.

PWInsider has previously reported that Nox is likely behind the charging battery segments that have featured on NXT television over the past couple of months. With the battery reaching 81% on last week's episode, that angle is likely near to completion.

Nox was shelved by a torn ACL last summer. This was turned into a television angle when Candice LeRae beat the 26-year-old down, preventing her from entering a battle royal, which gives Tegan a ready-made storyline to jump into whenever she returns.

LeRae and Indi Hartwell defend their NXT Women's Tag Team Titles against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark on tonight's Great American Bash special.

Nox's latest torn ACL was the third of her WWE career to date. The first hit prior to the original Mae Young Classic in 2017, before she sadly suffered another in the 2018 tournament, tearing her knee apart in a bout with Rhea Ripley.
