After getting his head cut open in this cage match with Doctor Death, Jerry Only returned to the back and asked where the guy was who could stitch his up.

“There’s no guy,” he was apparently told.

The fact that there were no medical personnel on hand to provide care for the wrestlers bothered him. According to Only, when the creative team gave them a script, he held it up as evidence that the performers should be protected by a union like the Screen Actors Guild, which could result in the wrestlers getting health insurance and life insurance, both of which were unheard of. Since Jerry very experienced with legal wrangling from his music career, he let it be known that he was happy to contact his lawyers and get the unionization process started.

It was clear that his offer was not welcome, however, and from that moment on, he knew he would not be staying long.
