It has been confirmed that The Dudley Boyz goodbye segment on RAW this past week was indeed legitimate, and Bubba Ray and D-Von are once again gone from WWE. PWInsider have reported that whilst news had broke that the duo had signed new deals, at some point in the last seven days the decision was made instead to amicably part ways.

It was agreed that they would finish up last night on RAW, with the intention of putting over Gallows & Anderson with the door open to a match should choose to return. Whether or not they will take up The Shining Stars' offer of a trip to Puerto Rico is yet to be confirmed.

Upon returning to the backstage area, the legendary tag team were met by the entire RAW roster along with officials and the McMahons, who gave the brothers a standing ovation. There is no news on what is next for the Dudley Boyz, who will continue to run their Team 3D Wrestling Academy in Florida. As for their performing status, they are currently free agents.

Free agents you say? Well, there is one space in the brackets to crown the first SmackDown Tag Team Champions...
