Rumours of backstage heat between The Hurt Syndicate's MVP and other AEW stars like 'Speedball' Mike Bailey and MJF have been doing the rounds online. It appears there's definitely zero tension between MVP and Friedman, but what about Bailey? It's been claimed that Porter has made it very clear behind the scenes that he's no fan of 'Speedball'.

The Syndicate and Bailey moved to make light of those rumours via Instagram. There, MVP posted a short video of he, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin walking past Mike backstage. The group stopped long enough for Porter to say: "F*** you, Speedball". Then, the manager encouraged his troops Lashley and Benjamin to say the same.

Both stared at the ground as they meekly offered the same sentiments.

Replying in his usual jovial manner, Bailey said: "Well f*** you too, MVP" and: "Well f*** you guys too" before everyone moved on. The Hurt Syndicate wore mixed angry (MVP) and sad (Bobby and Shelton) expressions as they walked away. Meanwhile, Mike smiled and offered a friendly wave before he continued filming...whatever he was filming.

In the comments, Bailey even replied to MVP's post with a simple: "HEAT". This is clearly a shot across the bows of the online rumour mill. Fightful Select had reported that they'd heard of Porter rubbing certain folks up the wrong way behind the curtain, but added that they hadn't heard similar about either Lashley or Benjamin.

One thing's clear: All 4 guys involved here had a grand old time playing around with the idea they don't get along.
