The Man Responsible For Shayna Baszler's Bloody WWE Raw Attack Revealed

And where did the inspiration come from for such a 'unique' attack on Becky Lynch.

Last night’s Raw saw two-time NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler literally take a bite out of the competition as she bizarrely gnawed on the neck of Becky Lynch.

The whole biting element of Baszler’s attack on the current Raw Women’s Champion received a mixed reaction from wrestling fans, and now the Wrestling Observer is claiming that it was Paul Heyman’s call to have The Queen of Spades layout The Man in such a way.

It’s well known just how much Heyman is a fan of Freddie Blassie, and it would appear Paul E borrowed a page out of Blassie’s vampiric playbook – the WWE Hall of Famer having a spell performing as The Vampire.

Adding further credence to Heyman being the one who was responsible for this angle, the former ECW Head responded to former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide on Twitter.

Of course, Paul Heyman is the Executive Director of Raw, and thus anything that takes place on the show will have had to have been run by him in the first place – but it appears as if the move to have Shayna Baszler take a bloody bite out of Becky Lynch was indeed a Heyman idea.
