The Rock Will Be At WWE Raw Tonight

Will The Great One make an on-air appearance?

Filming for the movie based on Paige's family—which is a joint venture between WWE Studios and The Rock's production company—is already under way.

Tonight they're going to be shooting a scene for the film after Raw ends.

The Great One himself is teasing he'll be at the show:

While that's unexpected news, it's reasonable to think that if he's at the arena, he'll probably show up on-air. It would be a pretty big letdown for the fans if he didn't. And with WrestleMania season in full-swing, timing wise this couldn't work out much better for WWE.

It's hard to guess exactly what Rock will do if he appears on TV, but he could always get involved in Roman Reigns' storyline with Braun Strowman, or perhaps he's ready for his rematch with Goldberg (nah). Or, he could cut a promo, tear down a midcard wrestler (like a Rusev) and then give him a Rock Bottom. Whatever it is, it will certainly be newsworthy.

Any time Rock shows up on WWE TV, he injects a much needed sense of star power, and helps create a buzz. Hopefully they have something good in mind for his appearance, as it doesn't happen very often.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
