The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels Advertised For WWE Raw Jan 9

The build to Royal Rumble and WrestleMania kicks off in earnest starting in 2017. It's already been announced that Goldberg will be on Raw on January 2, and now WWE's Facebook account has confirmed that The Undertaker will be on the January 9 show, live from New Orleans's Smoothie King Center.

The Undertaker, who is expected to compete in the Royal Rumble match and participate in a major bout at WrestleMania, was never officially drafted to a brand, though he was a Smackdown superstar for nearly the entirety of the original split. That loyalty remains to this day, as Undertaker showed up on the episode of Smackdown prior to Survivor Series in order to tell the blue brand's team that they had better perform well in their showdown with the Raw squad. Seeing Undertaker on Raw should be interesting.

The Facebook advertisement also mentioned that Shawn Michaels would be making a "special appearance" on the same show, but with no other details offered. Michaels has been making the media rounds lately - including doing an interview with white supremacist talking head Tomi Lahren - to promote his film The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
