The Undertaker's 12 Greatest WWE Raw Moments

9. Crucifying Stone Cold Steve Austin

Easily one of Undertaker's most infamous Raw moments, on December 7 1998 he crucified Stone Cold Steve Austin! The shock segment involved Taker's druids attaching Austin to a symbol. Undertaker then raised his arms to signal for the symbol to be hoisted up. There were clear similarities to a crucifixion, and the controversial angle actually ended up landing the WWF in some hot water with the USA Network and religious groups. But to hell with the controversy. It looked fantastic, getting Undertaker's new ministry of darkness story over in a big way. The production of it was first rate, with the stage bathed in blue and the camera angles perfectly capturing Undertaker's eyes rolling back into his head. Fans will never forget that image, Undertaker looking every bit the demon as Austin struggled on a crucifix. It was one of Raw's best ever endings.
