The Undertaker's 9 Weirdest WWE Rivalries
WWE has big plans for 'Taker at WrestleMania XXXI... Things are about to get weird.
It's the issue that has been hanging over WWE's head since April 6, will The Undertaker return to avenge his WrestleMania XXX defeat? Well, two clear indications have revealed themselves in recent weeks that suggest he will. The entire WWE Universe was shocked and somewhat angry when Brock Lesnar ended 'Taker's 21-0 streak at WWE's showcase event. Many of that upset majority believed the defeat finally brought The Undertaker's 24-year association with WWE to an end. It's a old-time wrestler thing that you should lose your retirement match. All the greats have done it: Austin, Flair, Michaels - the list is endless. However, as pictured above, 'Taker's face has been blazoned on promotional material for Mania which takes place on Sunday March 29, 2015. Obviously The Undertaker's name is so synonymous with WrestleMania that WWE might just be using his iconic status to promote the event but further news has been released that may shock a few Universe members. The Wrestling Observer newsletter is reporting The Undertaker is scheduled to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania XXXI, assuming Taker is healthy enough to compete at the PPV. This, allegedly, is merely a concept at this moment in time and Taker hasn't been approached with the idea yet. The rivalry, that will elevate Wyatt to the next level if it actually happens, will no doubt take a few unexpected twists and turns throughout. How could it not? Just look at the two competitors, they aren't exactly your normal wrestlers are they? This will be the next in a whole catalogue of storied rivalries for the deadman. Some of these rivalries have been against entities that fall into the 'just damn weird' category.
