The Usos Set For Imminent WWE Return?
Jimmy and Jey are finally on their way back to WWE television.
Are The Usos finally on their way back to WWE television? Cageside Seats seem to think so, with the site's daily Rumor Roundup column stating that the multi-time Tag Team Champions are "expected to return to WWE any time."
The writeup also notes that Dave Meltzer has speculated that they could join forces with cousin Roman Reigns to battle Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Bobby Roode on SmackDown. 'The Big Dog' was attacked by the heel trio on last week's show, losing to the 2019 King of the Ring winner in the process.
This isn't the first time that The Usos' supposedly imminent WWE return has been reported in recent months. Wrestling Inc. previously claimed that the duo were set to return on SmackDown's FOX season premiere on 4 October, though this didn't come to pass, and they were omitted from the following week's draft as creative had nothing for them (according to Meltzer).
Jimmy and Jey have been absent from WWE programming since the 29 July episode of Raw. Jimmy had been arrested on a DUI the previous week, and neither man has been seen on television since.
