Bookmakers have these WWE stars down as dead certs for the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley are currently the "odds on favourites" to win the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches respectively.

Bookmakers believe Cody, who will make his first appearance since June 2022, and Rhea will surely come out on top during the 30-strong traditional bouts on 28 January. Currently, Rhodes has a 52.4% chance of winning (according to bookies), and Ripley is 44.4% likely to survive then seize her chance to point at the big neon WrestleMania sign.

Those percentages equate 1/2 for Cody and Rhea next to the other men and women competing in each Rumble. In other words, bookmakers are almost certain that both will have their hands raised at the end of each match.

Rhodes, in particular, does appear to be a shoe-in. Of course, WWE's creative team could've announced his Rumble return knowing full well they had another surprise winner in mind for fans on the night. Meanwhile, Rhea has been riding high as a key member of Judgment Day and fully deserves a top 'Mania spot.

Interestingly enough, The Rock has been handed a 25% chance of winning the men's match, and "Honorary Uce" Sami Zayn's likelihood sits at 22.2%.
