Having departed WWE this past March, one-time NXT Champion Andrade El Idolo has revealed how he would've loved to wrestle Triple H during his time under the WWE banner.

Speaking to Lucha Libre Online (as per Fightful and translated by Luis Pulido), Andrade enthused:

"I would have liked to wrestle against Triple H in WWE. I would have loved to wrestle him in a one-on-one match, but it was not materialised. Things did not go our way, but I would have loved wrestling against Triple H."

While the Game and Andrade never got to lock horns during the former La Sombra's time with WWE, Triple H has got to face off with NXT alums such as Samoa Joe, Robert Roode, Baron Corbin, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn over the years - in addition to Hunter's major rivalries with heavy hitters such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

For Andrade El Idolo, he may not have had the chance to tangle with Triple H, but this coming Wednesday will see the hugely talented star make his formal AEW in-ring debut. With AEW returning to the road and heading to Miami this week, the upcoming Road Rager edition of AEW Dynamite will feature Andrade taking on Matt Sydal.
