In one of the big surprises from last night's ROH Final Battle PPV, 'The Titan' Adam Scherr appeared as part of a new faction.

The former Braun Strowman joined Westin Blake and Fodder in aligning with EC3 following Carter's eight-man tag team loss. There, EC3 teamed with Eli Isom, Taylor Rust and 'Hot Sauce' Tracy Williams in a losing effort against Rocky Romero and VLNCE UNLTD's Brody King, Homicide and Tony Deppen.

Post-match, EC3 cut a promo when Scherr, Blake and Fodder arrived and cleared the ring. Interestingly, all four men were part of the recent Free the Narrative II event put together by EC3.

Elsewhere, other notable surprises were the arrival of FTR to seemingly set up a match with the Briscoe Brothers after Mark and Jay defeated Matt Taven and Mike Bennett to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions. Then there was Deonna Purrazzo turning up to lay down the challenge to ROH Women's Champion Rok-C after the champ had retained against Willow Nightingale.

In terms of other matches on the card, Final Battle saw Jonathan Gresham win the 'original' ROH World Championship after submitting Jay Lethal, Josh Woods retained the ROH Pure Title against Brian Johnson, Rhett Titus beat Dalton Castle, Silas Young and Joe Hendry to become the new ROH TV Champion, Dragon Lee defeated Rey Horus, and Shane Taylor beat Kenny King.
