THIS IMPACT Wrestling Star Is Now A Free Agent
The former X Division Champion has departed IMPACT Wrestling for pastures new.
Rohit Raju has confirmed his departure from IMPACT Wrestling.
He revealed the news in a brief tweet on Sunday evening, deeming himself a free agent and asking his followers where they'd like to see him sign next. He had spent close to five years in the company.
Here's Rohit's tweet in full:-
As of today I am a free agent. Where would you like to see me next?

Initially debuting in May 2017, Rohit Raju - then under his indie name of Hakim Zane - acted primarily as an enhancement talent, putting over the likes of Eddie Edwards and Taiji Ishimori. It wasn't until he began teaming with Gursinder Singh (though he was later replaced by Raj Singh) in Gama Singh's Desi Hit Squad group that he had much success.
August 2020 brought the most success for Rohit as he dethroned Chris Bey of the X Division Title, a match also involving TJP, at the Emergence special, holding the title for 120 days before dropping it to TJP at Final Resolution that December. Successful defences did, however, come against Willie Mack, Trey Miguel, and Jordynne Grace, amongst others.
Rohit's last televised outing came on the company's IPWF Throwback Throwdown II special, where he - under the moniker of Quincy Cosmos - lost to Josh Mathews, who was Giuseppe Scovelli.
All the best to Rohit in his next move.
