THIS Is WWE SmackDown's Surprise New Female Star

One WWE star randomly moved brands from Raw to SmackDown on Friday night.

Naomi was moved from Raw to SmackDown on Friday night's blue brand episode.

Reports had surfaced in July that WWE had quietly decided to switch her, but that wasn't reflected on TV. This week, Naomi appeared in a short backstage segment with authority figure Sonya Deville and said she was raring to go on FOX - Sonya ignored Naomi and continued typing out texts on her phone.

Bizarrely, Deville also claimed that she didn't even know Naomi had been drafted to SmackDown.

Later, Naomi tweeted out, "DON'T PLAY WIT' ME!". It looks like she'll be asked to re-establish herself with WWE fans watching SmackDown, at least in the short term. It's also worth noting that Naomi is still technically listed as a Raw star on WWE's official website, but that'll likely change very soon.

She'll be a welcome addition to the Friday night line up, especially if she joins forces with The Usos and turns heel - the SmackDown women's division is really thin on the ground when it comes to credible villains right now. Could Naomi fill that role? Absolutely.

Keep an eye on that one.
