This Legend Turned Down WWE's Invite To Raw Is XXX

A former World Champion didn't think WWE's payday would be "worth it".

Kevin Nash turned down WWE's invitation to appear on Raw Is XXX for multiple reasons.

The Hall Of Famer and ex-World Champion revealed those reasons via his 'Kliq This' podcast, and said that Bruce Prichard "generously" reached out to ask if he'd be available or fancy coming in. Then, Nash found out he'd be tasked with "playing cards" in backstage segments and declined.

Kev didn't think he'd be a great fit on the show generally anyway. He'd have fancied going out there with his buddies in D-Generation X, but that wouldn't have been consistent with the DX reunion theme they were going for, and he didn't want to be called "too old" anyway.

Also, Nash didn't want people coming up and asking about the recent passing of his son. He wouldn't put himself in that position. On top of all that, 'Big Sexy' said the "payday" wouldn't be "worth it" anyway. There was so much going against him agreeing to fly in for a cameo role.

The ex-Diesel knows how long WWE's TV days can be even when you're doing something meaningful. When you're there to play cards and goof around? Forget it.
