Anthony Ogogo was back in an AEW ring last night, competing at the promotion’s Dark: Elevation tapings in Duluth, GA.

AEW captured footage for Elevation, Rampage, and the live Dynamite show all in one sitting. Though Ogogo didn’t appear on the TNT broadcast, he teamed with Factory stablemates QT Marshall, Aaron Solo, and Nick Comoroto against a crew of enhancement talents, picking up a routine victory.

Ogogo, 33, last competed on the 4 June episode of Dynamite, where he and Marshall defeated Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson. This followed a pay-per-view loss to Rhodes at Double Or Nothing 2021 the previous week.

Returning to his native United Kingdom to undergo the tenth eye surgery of his combat sports career shortly after his last bout, Ogogo has been back in the United States for several weeks now, training for his comeback. There is currently no word on when he will be brought back in a fully televised role, though his match should air on next week’s episode of Elevation, the YouTube series.

Ogogo, who won a bronze medal as a middleweight boxer at the 2012 London Olympics, has been signed to AEW since October 2019.
