Jay White is heading back to IMPACT Wrestling.

Ahead of their television tapings on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 January, the Anthem-helmed promotion confirmed as such via their official Twitter channel, adding the star to an already packed line-up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Debuting for IMPACT at the tail-end of their Slammiversary pay-per-view last July, the then-NEVER Openweight Champion's sole purpose in the company, at the time, was to promote his impending title clash with FinJuice's David Finlay. That went down at New Japan's Resurgence event a few weeks later, hence why White laid out Finlay once the event went off-air.

He would wrestle just two matches for the company; a loss to the Good Brothers, who, alongside Kenny Omega, were confronted by White at Slammiversary, and a disqualification loss to Finlay and Juice Robinson. Both matches saw Chris Bey as his tag team partner, who White inducted into the Bullet Club during his stint in Nashville's Skyway Studios.

Jay White has wrestled exclusively in North America over the last few months, his return to Japan being ruled out owing to the ongoing global b*stard. He last competed in Japan on 4 May, the second day of Wrestling Dontaku. He, Dick Togo, and EVIL lost to Hiroshi Tanahashi, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Toru Yano.
